Just because the client hasn’t paid in a timely manner doesn’t mean you should dump them from your client list as soon as they get around to paying you; it’s possible to collect with a smile.”

Meryl shares some great points on what you can do BEFORE starting a project or job for a client and things you can do after the work is done or the product is shipped to ensure you get paid first.  In this economy, you need to make these tips part of your every day credit policy and use them with every customer.  Limit your risk and protect yourself and your business.
